Author description

Rev Dr Dave Keizan Shoji Scott FRSA is an internationally published food and travel writer specializing in Japanese culture and Zen Buddhism. A high-ranking karate black belt and instructor, he has been studying Zen for over 20 years. In 2009, Tenshin Roshi recognised Sensei as a lineage holder and he was given the name 'Keizan Shoji'. He is now formally addressed as 'Sensei' (teacher). In 2014 Keizan Scott Sensei was nominated and elected as a full board member of White Plum Asanga in Liverpool.
